Dr. Werthebach Software Engineering develops software that lets KNX professionals bring AI assistants safely into their work with ETS projects: searching and checking projects, finding errors such as DPT conflicts and preparing changes. The goal is to make planning, commissioning and documentation of KNX installations faster and less error-prone.

How the AI works with your project

  1. Read

    The AI searches and checks the open ETS project. At first it may only read.

  2. Plan

    Every requested change appears as a traceable plan: what changes, where and why.

  3. Confirm

    You review the plan. Nothing is carried out without your confirmation.

  4. Change

    Only then does the change reach the project, fully logged.

What we are working on

We are developing an ETS app through which an AI assistant of your choice works with the open ETS project:

  • Searching and checking projects, for example for missing links or inconsistent naming
  • Finding errors, such as DPT conflicts between group addresses and communication objects
  • Preparing changes to group addresses, devices and parameters

Three principles

  • Project data stays local. The ETS project does not leave your computer via our servers.
  • You choose the AI provider. Which AI you use is your decision, with your own account and contract.
  • No change without confirmation. Every change is shown as a plan and applied only after you approve it.
