Behind Dr. Werthebach Software Engineering is Dr. Stephan Werthebach, a software developer with experience in backend and frontend development as well as product management.
Who is behind the company?
Dr. Stephan Werthebach builds software from the backend to the user interface and knows the product side from product management. Dr. Stephan Werthebach studied health economics and earned his doctorate in the field. Software development has always been part of his life, both professionally and personally. After a number of roles, he has focused in recent years on product management for enterprise software solutions. He was an early adopter of artificial intelligence and has integrated it into software products.
He develops software from the backend to the user interface and knows the users’ perspective from product management. This combination of development, product responsibility and AI experience is the foundation of Dr. Werthebach Software Engineering.
Why KNX?
During the complete renovation of a house, Dr. Stephan Werthebach planned and carried out an entire KNX project himself, from design to commissioning with ETS. This gave him first-hand experience of what makes KNX and ETS strong: an open standard, reliable technology and a tool that covers planning and programming an installation from start to finish. It also showed clearly where the work takes time and where errors creep in easily.
This is where Dr. Werthebach Software Engineering comes in: we develop tools that make working with ETS projects faster and safer, without replacing proven workflows.
